The Madigan Library offers free community memberships to residents of Lycoming County, 18 years and older (proof of residency required), to current students, faculty and staff of higher education institutions of the United States, to Penn College alumni, and to persons affiliated with Penn College through current service on a college board.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Madigan Library, please download and complete our membership form. Once completed, bring the form and a photo identification to our main circulation desk. Please allow 5 business days for membership accounts to be activated.

Community members may borrow up to 3 items at one time. Members must show a photo ID to check out materials. Reference and Instructional Collection items must be used in the library to ensure availability of curricula materials.

Library materials not returned within the due date will be billed the replacement cost of the item and a $15 processing fee (non-refundable).

Due to resource license and copyright restrictions, the Madigan Library limits the use of on-campus computers and access to online databases to Penn College students, faculty and staff.
