Kendra Boell earned her Doctoral degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is also a graduate of University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she earned her MBA. Boell also earned a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Albright College, Reading, PA. She was the 2003 recipient of the Williamsport Family Medicine Teaching Award. Upon completing residency and fellowship, she worked clinically as Bariatric Physician at Geisinger Medical Center and Medical Director for Geisinger Health Plan in Danville, PA. She joined the college as a Clinical Director for the Physician Assistant Program in 2016.

Heather Dorman earned her Master’s Degree in Instructional Systems-Educational Technology at Penn State University. She is also a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Technology Physician Assistant Program, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Physician Assistant studies. She was the 2005 recipient of the Russell M. Trapp Professionalism Award. After graduation, she worked clinically as a Physician Assistant on the trauma surgery team at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. She joined the college as a Clinical Director for the Physician Assistant Program in 2008.

Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Dorman was a 1994 graduate of the Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center Paramedic Training Institute. She was employed as a Paramedic Supervisor with Danville Ambulance Service MICU 120, providing pre-hospital advanced life support. During this time, she served as a clinical preceptor for paramedic students, and as adjunct faculty for several area Paramedic Programs.

Katie McNamee is a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology. She earned her degree in Business Management. She joined the Physician Assistant Program in 2016. She had worked previously for Lycoming College for 12 years as an Administrative Assistant for several Academic Departments. She is the first person to contact with questions once the website has been fully reviewed.

Dr. McKeon holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy with an area of specialty in Philosophy of Mind and area of concentration in Medical Ethics from Binghamton University. He also earned a Master of Science degree in Biology from Duquesne University, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from SUNY Cortland, and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Legal Assistant / Paralegal from Penn College. Dr. McKeon has published two papers in HIV and EIAV research and taught biology and philosophy classes since 1999. He has also served as a legal extern for the Honorable Matthew W. Brann, United States District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and as Department Head for the Department of Natural Sciences at Penn College.

Honors have included admission into Mensa, Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Xi, and Beta Beta Beta. He is also a recipient of the Barry M. Goldwater scholarship in Mathematics, Science and Engineering, the Lycoming Law Association Award from Penn College, and the Biological Science Honors Award from SUNY Cortland.

Victor was a member of the 2nd graduating PA class at Penn College of Technology in 1999. He was a nontraditional student having received his BS in Medical Technology from Bloomsburg University in 1984. After 15 years in the field of laboratory medicine and in-vitro fertilization his interest to become more involved in patient care set his path. He later received a MPAS from the University of Nebraska with an emphasis in Internal Medicine.

Victor has practiced Hospital Medicine as a staff Physician Assistant with the Geisinger Health System. He later assumed the role of Chief PA of the Inpatient Hospitalist AP group. During his tenure with the PA Hospitalist group the program grew from staff of 7 to 27. In his more recent role at Geisinger Health System he was Chief PA of the Inpatient Hematology and Oncology Hospitalist team.

Victor lives in Mt Carmel Township with his wife, mother and daughter. For Victor, the PA profession has been a continuing source of professional satisfaction and challenge. His many hobbies include cooking, bee keeping and numismatics.

Larissa Whitney

Larissa Whitney is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Technology Physician Assistant Program, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Physician Assistant studies and was the 2010 recipient of the President’s Award for leadership and service to the college community. She subsequently graduated with Honors from Nova Southeastern University, where she earned a Master’s of Health Science degree. Clinically, Larissa began her career as a Physician Assistant at Geisinger Medical in Danville, PA in the Hospitalist Department and quickly moved into a role as a Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant and later interim chief. After getting married, Larissa moved to the Lehigh Valley Area and joined the Critical Care staff at St. Luke’s University Hospital and later transitioned to Lehigh Valley Health Network in NeuroCritical Care where she served as the Chief/Lead Physician Assistant. Larissa also enjoyed serving as a clinical preceptor for Physician Assistant students while in practice.

In addition to fulfilling her faculty position, Larissa maintains certification as a physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and an active license in the state of Pennsylvania, currently practicing as a Hospitalist Physician Assistant at Williamsport Regional Medical Center. Larissa says that having a degree in Physician Assistant studies allows her to have a career that she loves, continually educate students integrating into clinical practice, and have the family life that she has always dreamed of.
