The Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration prepares students with the skills necessary to meet today's business demands and those for the future. This major provides students with a solid business core that includes an extensive background in the functional areas of marketing, finance, accounting, and management; an understanding of the business environment to include the legal, economic, behavioral, human resource, ethical, and international aspects; technical skills in information systems and quantitative analysis; and the ability to communicate, integrate and synthesize.
Students completing the Banking and Finance Concentration will develop a solid understanding of:
- Risk Management
- Money and Banking
- International Business and Finance
Students are encouraged to take the Series 6 and 63 securities license exams.

Accreditation & Industry Connections
The Accounting and Business programs have been accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
Graduates can expect to be employed as financial analysts, personal financial advisors, insurance underwriters and sales, or in banking positions such as loan officers. Opportunities for employment exist nationwide, but most graduates of this major become employed within Pennsylvania, particularly in Williamsport, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage for administrative services managers was $96,180 in May 2018. The top 10 percent earned more than $165,470.

All transfer credits will be evaluated on a course-by-course basis to determine where they would fit into the curriculum sequence. Students must have earned a grade of 'C' or better in courses transferred into the B.S.
