I spent the summer working for a financial services company in the greater Washington D.C. area. I was responsible for processing client applications, scheduling client meetings, and producing financial projections. I was also able to sit in on client meetings and gain valuable "soft skills" that are difficult to develop in the classroom. At the conclusion of the internship, I was offered a position to be a Financial Paraplanner.
