As a concrete representation of the commitment to assessment and to applying assessment directly to student learning, President Gilmour established an annual award, available to faculty and staff.
The three related documents, available on the myPCT Portal, detail eligibility, criteria, and process. Given the ongoing collaborations among faculty and staff in assessing instructional programs and services, both individuals and groups are eligible to apply.
In return for the award – namely, full support for a professional development opportunity of the awardee/s' choice – the assessment activity will be tailored for use on the QTA website as a Best Practice. Recipients will also be invited to present their concept in a workshop setting for faculty and staff.
