If the weather is bad...

1. Don't risk it

If the weather conditions will make it treacherous for you travel to Williamsport for testing or advising sessions, do not put yourself in danger; there are alternatives. You may contact Academic Services to reschedule testing or to make other arrangements for your advising session.

2. Check for weather related delays or closings

If inclement weather makes it necessary to either close or delay opening the College, announcements will be made on Penn College's website. See the College's Guidelines for Closings and Delayed Starts for general procedures and a list of radio and television stations that also carry weather related announcements.

Important Note: Rather than call the College, it is best to follow the procedures listed above to obtain delay and closing information.
If the College is closed or on a delay, there will be no one available to take your call.

3. Be aware of alternate start times and procedures for placement testing and advising sessions

We will communicate closing and delay information and instructions by email, as we are able. If you need to communicate with Academic Services on the morning of a delay or closing, you may contact us by email at firstyear@pct.edu.
