Academic Services will automatically create your first semester’s schedule, guided by the following factors:
- The requirements of your curriculum and recommendations of your academic school
- Your placement test results
- Transferred courses (if applicable)
- Alternative credit such as advanced placement
After we have completed your schedule, we will send you an email alert directing you to view your schedule on the SIS and encouraging you to contact us with questions.
In future semesters, you will select your courses with the assistance of your adviser, and then you will use the Web-based system in SIS to create your schedule. More information on this process is available on the Registrar’s portal site (login required).
