If you do not satisfy developmental requirements prior to the start of your first semester, you will be scheduled for developmental courses in your first semester and in subsequent semesters as necessary. All developmental requirements should be satisfied within your first two semesters of enrollment. For some majors, developmental requirements must be satisfied before taking any major-specific courses.
Since developmental courses are in addition to the courses required in your major, you may make up courses during future summer terms, or plan to use an additional semester to complete all course work.
For more detail on developmental course work and acceptable completion timelines, see Placement Testing and Developmental Course Work in the College Catalog.
