WTC Services
In-Field Training
Traditionally a facility based organization, WTC staff and it's well equipped mobile unit have been delivering training at agency sites throughout Pennsylvania since 1990. Working in response to a particular training need, a customized agenda is built, which may include a wide range of training possibilities.
- Competency-based courses recognized and approved by U.S. Department of Energy and Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry
- Weatherization lab development expertise
- Instruction in science, principles of energy, moisture transportation, and control strategies
- Building and mechanical systems audits (in field and lab)
- Building product information and other resources
These services are offered at no cost to federally funded Pennsylvania agencies. In-Field Training is also available to other states, utility companies or private corporations and is fee based. Contact the Weatherization Training Center for more information.
