"All Weatherization Training Center courses through June 30, 2009, are full. Effective March 10, 2009, WTC will only accept course registrations from Pennsylvania sub-grantee agencies who currently deliver services under the Pennsylvania Weatherization Assistance Program. This includes their direct hire staff and agency subcontractors."

Consistent with its technical orientation, WTC provides its participants with a broad-based education in many aspects of building science along with the technical skills necessary to meet the program goals of reduced energy consumption, health, safety, and comfort for occupants.
Conducted by experienced instructors, WTC courses feature both theory and hands-on application. Training manuals, tools, and lab materials relevant to specific assignments are provided.
Each course contains specific competency requirements, and certificates are awarded to students upon successful completion of written exams and lab exercises.
