Information Technology Training
Intermediate and Advanced Training
Intermediate and advanced information technology training can advance the skills of a company’s information technology employees.
An information technology training grant may provide reimbursement of training costs up to $850 per qualified employee (at a maximum of $50,000 per company).
In-house, company training is permitted.
Topics may include:
- E-business/e-commerce
- website design/development
- Database development
- Software engineering
- Computer programming
- Systems analysis
- Management information systems
- Network Administration
- Information Security
- Technology Support
- Advanced Applied Manufacturing Technology:
- CAD-CAM
- CNC-PLC
Training in spreadsheet, word processing, presentation graphics, and basic/introductory database management is not eligible for an information technology training grant; however, these may meet eligibility requirements for basic skills training funding.
Company-wide software training for end users is not eligible for the Information Technology training program.
Training deemed ineligible for basic skills training fund is not eligible for information technology training reimbursement.
