North Campus: Professional Office Skills Certificate

This 800-hour, noncredit course provides hands-on instruction that prepares students to find entry-level employment in a variety of office positions including:

  • Receptionist
  • General office worker
  • Clerical service
  • Word processor/computer operator
  • Data entry and information processing
  • Office coordinator
  • Salesperson
  • Office assistant
  • Insurance clerk
  • Human resource assistant
  • Office support staff
  • Call center operator
  • Billing and posting clerk

Cost:

$7,250 (including textbooks)
Applicants can apply for FAFSA for federal PELL grants and Stafford loans.

To be considered for enrollment in the program, you must complete an application by the stated deadline and have:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative, be reliable, and responsible

Basic keyboarding skills are helpful but not mandatory.

Attendance at classes and externship is mandatory to receive a certificate of completion.

Dress code:

Casual attire for classes; business attire for externship
