Economic Development
Workforce Development & Continuing Education (WDCE) provides economic development services through a unique system of integrated service delivery. WDCE is an integral member of Central Pennsylvania's Business Assistance Team, which is comprised of Industrial Resource Centers (IRC's), Ben Franklin Technology Centers, TEAMPA, PENNTAP, Focus Central Pennsylvania, SEDA-Council of Governments (SEDA-COG), the Governor's Action Team, and the local Chamber of Commerce.
WDCE provides technology consulting and training services to help Pennsylvania solicit new companies and retain existing companies. Our attention to customer service, combined with our unique blend of high technology professionals and state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, positions us well to serve Pennsylvania's economic development needs.
WDCE works closely with both state and federal funding agencies to solicit, obtain, and manage grant funds to provide Pennsylvania communities and industries access to these funding opportunities.
