Plastics Materials and Processing

This workshop will provide fundamentals of plastic material properties, testing and processing through a blend of classroom and laboratory instruction. Participants will gain hands-on experience with mechanical thermal and rheological testing of plastics. Laboratory sessions will be used to introduce processing techniques such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and rotational molding. Individuals new to plastics processing, those interested in broadening their processing background and sales and marketing representatives will benefit from this course.
