The shale revolution is transforming energy production and utilization across the United States and around the world. Understanding how and why shales like Marcellus, Utica, and others are being developed is fundamental to successful businesses across North America. The Fundamentals of Shale Development program is an ideal way for businesses to research an entry point in the shale marketplace. This program is designed to provide a foundation which can shorten the shale entry timeframe by identifying key terminology and opportunities for integration across operations, for employees new to shale, and to develop a broad understanding of current practices in shale development. Employees with experience will increase their knowledge by viewing development across multiple operators and identifying answers to key shale development questions posed by a concerned public.
