WWCI Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Technician 40-hr.

COURSE REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE IDENTIFIED AS NON-RESPONDERS IN BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY: This forty-hour course covers the skills and competencies that are required to be successful in the role of a hazardous materials technician in gas field emergencies. Students receive the critical knowledge to safely respond to multiple types of hazardous materials emergencies. Course topics cover aspects ranging from role definition on to implementing contingency plans. This course complies with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120(q). PLEASE SEE ERT 122 IF YOU MEET THE CRITERIA AS AN ACTIVE HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TECHNICIAN (FIRST RESPONDERS), MEMBERS OF A CERTIFIED HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TEAM, OR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE IDENTIFIED AS BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TECHNICIANS INVOLVED IN TRANSPORTATION AND ON-SITE EMERGENCY RESPONSE.
