The Lycoming Engine Service School course includes the construction, theory of operation, and servicing of Lycoming reciprocating engines. It also covers the inspection, servicing, and troubleshooting of the related components. Designed to assist maintenance personnel in maintaining Lycoming engines, this course can be used for qualification for the IA renewal program FAR 65.93(a) (4). This four-day, 28-hour class is a prerequisite for the Disassembly/Reassembly course. This course may also be taken for College credit (2 credits) or for non-credit earning 2.80 CEUs.
