Ceramic Studio Workshop

This course is for anyone interested in ceramic art. Projects include hand building and beginners and advanced potter's wheel techniques. Participants may work with stoneware, porcelain, and Raku clay bodies, as well as various colorants, glazes, and firing processes. Decorating techniques may include Majolica, redware, crystalline glazes, naked Raku, and mosaics. Exploring surface treatment and design is encouraged in order to develop creative functional and sculptural forms.
