OSHA 30 Construction
OSHA 30 Construction is required for Weatherization Crew Chiefs. The OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry course provides students with a more in-depth analysis of OSHA policies, procedures, standards and construction industry safety and health principles. Individuals that supervise crews, manage safety or health programs, or are interested taking more advanced training are encouraged to attend this training. Classroom facilitators not only identify safety and health principles that help the student meet OSHA requirements, but special emphasis is paid to those scenarios in the construction industry that most commonly result in worker injury or property damage. The students are also briefed on basic instructional approaches, improving compliance communication, and how to provide effective training to workers at a construction site. Students that successfully complete the course receive an OSHA Construction Industry Safety and Health 30-hour card.
