Commercial Driver (CDL) Training Specific for the Oil and Gas Industry
This 180-hour course takes a participant through the process of obtaining a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL). The course will focus upon typical on-road CDL training and include additional training in skills necessary for success in the oil and natural gas industry. Skills such as operating skills on lease roads, high center of gravity loads, and close quarter maneuvering will be studied and practiced. Rough Terrain Forklift Certification
This course is designed to provide the operator with an understanding and awareness of operations and hazards of a rough terrain lift truck. Covered are inspection criteria, operational characteristics, handling and placing loads, the stability of the lift, fueling, general safety rules and driver evaluations. This program meets the requirements of OSHA 1910.178(l) for Class 7 Extended Reach Rough Terrain Forklift. Successful students receive a certificate of completion card.

PEC Basic-SafeGulf/SafeLand Orientation
This course is designed to take the place of multiple operator orientations and give each participant a general idea of life and safety issues in the oil and gas industry: upstream, downstream, onshore, or offshore. This course meets API RP 75 & API RP T-1 requirements and provides a basic, awareness-level understanding of certain general safety information that an employee should know before entering a company facility and while performing assigned work duties. Over 25 of the leading oil and gas operators accept this orientation to meet their requirements. Upon successful completion, each participant is issued a photo ID with unique barcode. Participant information is stored in an online database.

Confined Space
This course presented allows the entrant, attendant, or supervisor to safely and confidently understand and evaluate the hazards and procedures associated with confined spaces. This training helps you differentiate between a permit required and non-permit required confined space. The course addresses the hazards associated with confined spaces and outlines the duties and responsibilities of all members of a confined space entry team, emergency rescue procedures, and plan development. It also discusses the need for appropriate personal protective equipment and the selection characteristics for each level of protection. Because of the use of instrumentation for monitoring is also essential to any confined space operation, the instruction addresses numerous types of direct-reading instruments, including their mode of operation and limitations of each type. This course effectively fulfills the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.146 for confined space entry.

OSHA 10 General Industry
This course for personnel covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles. Topics include scope and application of the OSHA general industry standards. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide. The 10-hour General Industry Outreach Training Program is intended to provide a general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards in a workplace. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 20 CFR 1910. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of the job. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Outreach DOL course completion card within 4-6 weeks.

Hot Work Air Monitoring
In this 4-hour course, we will first discuss the theory of gas detection and then the practical application.The practical application of this course will focus on the Hot Work process. Hot Work can be defined as any operation such as brazing, cutting, welding, grinding, soldering, or torching that can cause sparks or flames. While such work is necessary, the hazards associated can be minimized through an effective hot work permit program. This course provides an overview of an OSHA-compliant hot work permit program, including the permit process roles and responsibilities, and controls used to minimize the risk of fire. The content in this course is designed to comply with the intent of the applicable regulatory requirements of OSHA 29.CFR 1910.252 and NFTA 51B.

This 8-hour course provides an overview of state-of-the-art technology for fall protection and current OSHA requirements. Trenching & Excavation Safety Competent Person Training
This 6 hour course addresses the regulatory excavation standard through the eyes of the "Competent Person." Participants will be instructed on field applications that help minimize the risks of employee injuries, accidents and equipment failures on the worksite. Hands-on training and field exercises may be used to demonstrate how to conduct a trench inspection, soil classification or installation and use of protective systems such as shields and shoring. "Competent person" means one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous or dangerous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them.
