Toward Zero Energy Homes
Both government and various sustainable organizations are pushing to make all new construction perform as zero energy structures by as early as 2030! This workshop will be presented by industry expert and best selling author, David Johnston. The course course is ideal for any industry professional to include modular manufacturers, sales, engineering, purchasing, builders, suppliers, code officials, financial professionals and real estate professionals. The FBH industry is becoming more involved in manufacturing single family, multifamily, commercial and school projects with various green specifications and/or certifications. There is a need for experts in the FBH industry to work on sustainable projects and learn how to integrate zero energy strategies into their products. The workshop will include a copy of the instructor's newly released "Toward a Zero Energy Home" for each participant.
Prerequisite(s): Section 02 Requirements: Participant must be a PA resident AND must supply Social Security number for the Commonwealth upon registration.
