A RESNET recognized trainer and FBHC staff will train in-plant inspectors and any other designated individuals in the basic building science technology related to Energy Star Certifcation. Training will focus on creating an FBH culture where the Energy Star standards are practiced on production lines relative to insulation, air sealing, and design of the project and building performance. Intensive classroom instruction on the RESNET standards, building science relative to the Energy Star program for new construction, and extensive "hands on" applications utilizing travel to local manufacturing facilities and models. Upon completion of the training, participants will have the option of taking the RESNET written exam portion of the Field Rater Inspector Certification. Participation in the training DOES NOT GUARANTEE RESNET certification. Priority registrations given to PAFBH Industry Partnership members. FRIDAY ENDS AT NOON.
