Impacts of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) to Your Manufacturing Environment
This course is designed to give perspective on where and how GDT impacts any manufacturer from design to product inspection based on customer requirements. This seminar-style informational course introduces the participant to a broad concept of GDT, its potential impact on production, and more importantly the overall cost of manufacturing. Direct correlations between GDT, quality, cost, and schedule of manufactured goods will be explored. As competitive as today's manufacturing environment is, a company needs to understand how proper GDT implementation can result in both an edge on the competition and the ability to better service the customer's needs. Follow-up classes will be available to provide more specialized training for individuals or companies that want to develop their GDT capabilities.
