OSB-2 Emissions Recertification
Recertification review and examination for PA OSB-2 emissions license.

Testing for Emissions Inspector Recertification
This certification is required for technicians performing the visual anti-tampering check and the gas cap test as part of the annual vehicle emissions and safety inspection for the northern region counties (Blair, Cambria, Erie, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Lycoming, and Mercer). To schedule the exam, test candidates must first successfully complete the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation required training and have a valid driver's license or non-driver photo identification issued by PENNDOT. Participants must register with Aspire at 1-800-247-1099 PRIOR to scheduling your testing session. Students must bring with them their user name and user password to access the exam site.

Enhanced Vehicle Safety
This course will familiarize students with the Enhanced Vehicle Safety Inspection Program (Category 4) and help prepare them to pass the state certification exam. Note: the training portion of this course is not a state requirement. Individuals that desire to take the test only should register for the test only course. ENHANCED VEHICLE SAFETY INSPECTION-SELF STUDY TRAINING AND REFERENCE GUIDE - PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION is the document that should be downloaded from www.dmv.state.pa.us: (Business Partners, Station Owner and Mechanics, Enhanced Vehicle Safety Inspection Training Manuals). Students must present their drivers license and their valid Safety Inspection Certification Card. Those that are only taking the Document Reviewer exam need only present their drivers license. Students should have already read the SELF STUDY AND REFERENCE GUIDE. This is open to Penn College students.

Prepare to become Pennsylvania certified to test vehicles for exhaust emissions. Focus is on the study of exhaust emission controls and related regulations and standards.
