Act 25 Professional Development Series (PDH)
Act 25 of 2010 requires professional engineers, land surveyors, and geologists (among others) licensed in Pennsylvania to complete 24 hours of professional development hours (PDH) in each two-year renewal cycle as a condition of state licensure renewal. This mandate is to ensure these professionals maintain, improve, or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to their professional practice. Workforce Development and Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology offers courses and seminars designed to satisfy this requirement.
