WDCE at a Glance

WDCE at Penn College offers noncredit education for the public. No formal entrance requirements are needed. Courses provide upgrading, training, and development to enhance opportunities for individuals in their job duties, career advancement, and personal development.

Classes are conducted in an informal, non-competitive atmosphere. No grades are assigned, and no academic credit is given. However, Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are provided for many courses. The instruction is offered in the same quality tradition that you have come to expect from Penn College.

Classroom Information

Campus buildings are abbreviated in the noncredit course information. Please refer to the Penn College campus map (Williamsport campus) for the full name and location of the building in which your class will be held.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in any College building.

Certificates

Certificates of completion are issued at the conclusion of the course. Certificates are awarded based on at least 70 percent class attendance and at the discretion of the instructor.

Filled Courses

If the course for which you wish to register is filled, your name will be placed on a waiting list for the next available seat in that course. You will be advised of the next scheduled course offering.

Make-ups

Class meetings will be made up for classes postponed by the instructor's request and extreme weather conditions. Students may not make up absences by attending classes other than their own.
