Victorian House construction:

A student effort

Design by Mark E. Kessler, of Gettysburg, a 1994 graduate in architectural technology.

Site excavation by Heavy Construction Equipment Technology students.

Hands-on experience for students in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

Finishing touches to the grounds by Landscaping students.

Garden gazebo by carpentry students.

The Victorian House

The Victorian House at Pennsylvania College of Technology was dedicated on June 14, 1997, after more than two years of work by students, faculty and staff.

The Victorian House hosts special visitors on campus – including visiting chefs, lecturers and prominent figures – for overnight stays. It is also utilized in hosting various events dedicated to growing Penn College's student scholarship fund.

The Victorian House was designed by Mark E. Kessler, of Gettysburg, a 1994 graduate. The concept behind the building was to blend modern construction technologies with the rich Victorian heritage of the Williamsport neighborhood near the campus.
