Healthy Weight Week
Healthy Weight Week at Penn College is dedicated to increasing students' knowledge about a variety of topics related to maintaining a healthy weight. Topics covered during this week include:
- The importance of maintaining a health weight
- Effective dietary habits and activity
- "Eating on the Run"
- Time management as it applies to healthy eating and activity
Events encourage discussion and help raise student's level of comfort when talking about these issues. Students have the opportunity to explore these issues and obtain factual information in a fun and open manner. Students are also introduced to the community resources available to them.
