Miss Representation Film & Discussion
7 p.m., Bush Campus Center, Penn's Inn
Miss Representation is a 2011 American documentary film written, directed, and produced by Jennifer Siebel Newsom. It explores how mainstream media contribute to the under-representation of women in influential positions by circulating limited and often disparaging portrayals of women. The film premiered in the documentary competition at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. A panel discussion will follow the film screening.

Do you know just how AWESOME of a woman you are? Well the ladies and gentlemen of Penn College surely know the answer to that question. Women who have been nominated will be honored and have the opportunity to mingle with other extraordinary female students, staff and faculty at the Awesome Women Exemplar ceremony. Honorees will also be inspired as well as empowered by our guest speaker. Refreshments will be served.
