Homecoming Week Events
Penn College will be celebrating Homecoming during the fall for the first time ever! This year's theme is "Energize Your Pride." We hope that all Penn College students, faculty, staff, and alumni will participate in events to show off their Penn College Pride!
Events are sponsored by the 2007 Homecoming Committee, Student Government Association, Residence Hall Association, Penn College Motorsports Association and Wildcat Events Board. Events that are open to the Penn College community only are denoted (*).
Voting for Homecoming King and Queen begins Monday, Oct. 8 and continues through the end of the Men's Soccer game on Saturday, Oct. 13

*Banner Decorating Night
5-8 p.m.
Campus Center, Penn's Inn
A banner decorating night will kick-off the Homecoming Banner Contest in style.
All student organizations are encouraged to create a banner, approximately 3'x
5', that includes the name of the organization, the year, and the Energize Your
Pride Homecoming theme. The organization with the best banner will receive a
pizza party provided by Food Services. All banners will be displayed on the
fence surrounding Athletic Field I.

Donkey Basketball

Bardo Gym
Come out and cheer on your favorite team as they play basketball atop of a live
donkey! Donkey Basketball is an effort to develop the Student Legacy Fund, a
scholarship program for student leaders at Penn College.
Tickets for Donkey Basketball can be purchased beginning Sept. 27 at the Campus
Center, Information Desk or at the door prior to the game.
Ticket prices: $3, Students; $5, Faculty/Staff/Alumni; $7, Community Member; $3,
Children-ages 5-12 (Children under 5 are free); $25, donkey reservation

Kick off Homecoming weekend by reconnecting with old classmates and past
professors at our alumni networking reception! Dr. Siegel, Professor Landers,
and Professor Leete are just a few who plan to be in attendance. Learn more
about career services, register for e-recruiting, and reminisce over hors
d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Don't forget to bring your business cards!

The competition will heat up under the lights during the first ever Homecoming
Power Puff Football Game. Hot chocolate and snacks will be available to take to

You'll be sure to get fired-up when the wildcat athletic teams are introduced.
This is a great opportunity to meet the men and women of the Homecoming Court

Comedian, Vic Henly

From his appearances in Games Rednecks Play with fellow comedian Jeff
Foxworthy to his recent appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman,
Vic Henley has done it all. He is also a favorite on The Bob and Tom Show
and The John Boy and Billy Radio Show. Vic is one up-and-coming comedian
you do not want to miss!

Car Show Check-in and Registration

Everyone is welcome to participate in this unique car show! Pre-registration is
$10 per car, registration the day of is $15. Classes for the show are: best in
show, sport compact foreign, sport compact domestic, truck full size, truck
mini, dirtiest vehicle, motorcycle sport, motorcycle cruiser, hot rod, Pre WW
II, 1950-1960, 1961-1970, 1971-1980, 1981-1990, Mustang, Corvette, Camaro. A
trophy will be awarded to the winner of each class
A raffle will be held for all participants for several gift baskets. For

ancient cave paintings in their thick, broad lines, and rough textures, yet

Sleep in, then, share your weekend stories over brunch with alumni relations
assistant, Becky Shaner '03.
Sunday brunch ($11.95 plus tax and gratuity) includes student-created breakfast
and luncheon favorites, a meat-carving station, and an omelet station.
*Fall Foliage Train Excursion Alumni only event
2 p.m.
All aboard the Alumni Car! Lycoming College and Penn College alumni are invited
to enjoy the vibrant fall colors of the Williamsport community during the
Lycoming County Visitors Bureau's Fall Foliage Train Excursion. The train will
travel from Williamsport to Jersey Shore and return to Williamsport. It is
pulled by a diesel engine with three refurbished passenger cars and a caboose.
This relaxing train ride will last approximately 1 ˝ hours and ticket prices are
$13 per person. For reservations and more information, please contact the
