Produced twice a semester, The Penn College Civilian (PDF) highlights upcoming service projects and recognizes those who take time to give back to the community.
Civic engagement, or volunteerism, is a great way to make a difference and can be a rewarding complement to your academic experience. Through volunteerism you can:

- Strengthen interpersonal skills
- Meet new people and build long-lasting relationships
- Help make a positive difference in the community

Student Activities is a clearinghouse for volunteer opportunities in the community. If you have the time to volunteer, we can get you connected to a service project that fits you.
