MaryJo Nonnemacher, President

nonmar92@pct.edu

I am a senior in the Bachelor's (BGN) program. Over the summer, I worked as a nurse extern at Geisinger Medical Center in the ICU. After graduation, I hope to work in the ICU again. This year in SNA, I hope to have representation at the state and national conferences as well as improve attendance at meetings and participate more in community education activities.

I'm Kati, I'm twenty-one years old. I am in the BGN program. I volunteer in the emergency room. I work as a bartender. I plan on getting my nurse practitioner in endocronology.

Amanda Hinkal, Secretary
hinama20@pct.edu

My name is Amanda Hinkal and I am from Montoursville. I am currently going into my junior year in the BGN nursing program. I experienced health care by starting out as an EMT with my local fire department, this initial experience sparked my interest in helping people, seeing disease processes, and how one's body works. I have decided to become a nurse because there are so many different areas one can get into, and there will always be jobs. hopefully I will get to see neat things that go on with the body, and lastly, be able to help someone in a time of need and desperation. I am currently unsure of what field I want to go into; however, I am leaning more toward the emergency department or ICU, but only time will tell as I experience the different areas in clinical.
