ISA Educational Foundation Scholarship Recipients Award

Criteria: Recognizes full-time students who are at least in their sophomore year of school. Each individual must have an overall GPA of at least 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Students who are enrolled in a program studying automation and control or a similar field.

The top two undergraduate award recipients are recognized during the Honors and Awards program.

A senior at the Pennsylvania College of Technology, Chad Wagner is working towards earning his Bachelor of Science in electronic engineering technology through a cooperative program that allows him to gain industry work experience. Currently he is working at Caswell Machine Works in Leeper, Penn. working on automating a pneumatic crimping machine. He just earned his associates degree in industrial process control and plans to work in process control engineering upon graduation from Pennsylvania College of Technology.

A soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve, he was mobilized to Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and received the Army Achievement Metal for his service. He just returned from a humanitarian mission from Guatemala.

He is a student member of ISA, a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and a member of Alpha Chi Honors Society.
