Michael Bloom

Student Chapter Chair

Mike is a senior in the BET, Electronics Engineering Technology, major. He has been an active member in the IEEE for three years and currently holds the position of President. Mike has worked as a math tutor at the college as well as local businesses in industry. Mike also plans on receiving a minor in Mathematics before he graduates in 2008. Mike firmly believes that hard work is a requirement of being successful in life.

 

 


Gregory Ditzler

Student Chapter Vice-Chair

Greg is a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School and is currently a senior enrolled in the BET program. He has been an active member of the IEEE branch for over two years which has lead him to become the current vice chair of the IEEE. During his time in the IEEE, Greg has be actively involved with many of the club's projects. Aside from mathematics and electronics, Greg enjoys playing the guitar. He believes that one of the best ways to get ahead is to take the time to look back at where you came from and what mistakes you have made.

 

 
Kenan Kessler

Student Chapter Secretary
Kenan is a sophomore in the BEE (Electronic Engineering Technology) and RO (Robotic/Automation Engineering) majors. He has been an active member in the IEEE for two years and currently holds the position of Secretary. Kenan graduated from Downingtown East High School in '06, at which he acted as both the School Mascot there and also the Audio/Visual Manager. Kenan believes that to get to where you currently are, you had to have once traveled over what is behind you.

Student Chapter Treasurer

Mike is a senior in the Electronics Engineering Technology, or BET, program. He has been an active member of IEEE since his freshman year and has held the position of treasurer for the past two years. Aside from the bachelor’s degree he will be receiving, Mike is also pursuing an associate’s degree in Industrial Process Control and a minor in Mathematics, and he plans on graduating in Fall 2008. He has spent several months working in the industry and is beginning to develop an understanding as to what is required to be successful in the workplace.


Dave Nevill

Student Chapter Vice President of Recruitment and Retention

Dave is in his fifth year of college, the past three years of which have been spent here at Penn College in the BET program. He has been an active member of IEEE for two years and currently holds the position of Vice President of Recruitment and Retention. Dave completed a summer internship as a member of an IT department at Manheim Central School District this past summer. He plans on graduating in the spring of 2009.
