The Pennsylvania College of Technology IEEE Student Branch is open to all students in the Electronics Department. Our student branch concentrates on providing students with experience and knowledge that cannot be obtained within a typical classroom setting. We do this by organizing tours of industries that manufacture electronic components, participating in IEEE section meetings and regional competitions, bringing industry professionals into Pennsylvania College of Technology to speak to students, and brainstorming, designing, and manufacturing projects for display through the college campus. Also, twice a year, we arrange a dinner with electronics faculty to provide students with a chance to interact with their professors outside of the classroom.
Throughout the college year, we conduct fundraisers and participate in volunteer work both on the college campus and within the surrounding college community. We encourage any student who would like to become more involved on the college campus and gain valuable life experience related to your major to attend our meetings and events.
