Program Information
Students learn to:
- Assist with the fabrication and construction of a common race car frame and protective cage assembly
- Select, build and dynamometer test a common type of race car engine
- Select and install the proper brake, steering and suspension components for a common race car
- Service, maintain and repair a common entry-level race car of drag racing or oval racing design
Career Opportunities:
Those who complete the Motorsports Service Technician competency credential will be prepared for entry-level positions as a service technician in the motorsports field.
