Internships provide valuable work-based learning opportunities for students in the School of Transportation Technology. Students work with a department internship coordinator to determine eligibility, identify potential employers for placements and apply for internships.
Employers work directly with the internship coordinators to establish work experiences that meet the students' academic needs and career preparation as well as the employers' workforce requirements.
Internships are required in the following School of Transportation Technology majors:
|Automotive Technology: Ford ASSET (A.A.S.) *|
|Automotive Technology: Honda Emphasis (A.A.S.)|
Ford ASSET Co-op Task List (FA)
* An essential element of the ASSET program is a valid task list. The task list serves as a solid base for the course of study and a guide to the student and employer during each of the co-op sessions.
The Task Lists contained here are based upon the latest NATEF certification standards for Automobile General Service Technician Programs.
