Heating & Air Conditioning
- Diagnose the cause of unusual operating noises of the A/C system; determine needed repairs.
- Conduct a performance test of the A/C system.
- Leak test A/C system and determine needed repairs.
- Discharge, evacuate, and charge A/C system using recovery/recycling and charging equipment.
- Select oil type; measure and add oil to A/C system as needed.
- Inspect A/C compressor drive belts and pulleys; replace and adjust as needed.
- Inspect and test A/C compressor clutch components or assembly; replace as needed.
- Remove and replace A/C compressor and mountings.
- Inspect and replace A/C compressor shaft seal assemblies.
- Remove and inspect, A/C system components; replace as needed.
- Inspect A/C condenser for air flow restrictions; service as required.
- Inspect orifice tube; replace as needed.
- Inspect evaporator housing water drain; repair as needed.
- Diagnose the cause of temperature control problems in the heater/ventilation system; determine needed repairs.
- Diagnose the cause of failures in the electrical controls of heating and A/C systems; determine needed repairs.
- Inspect and test A/C heater blower motor circuit; repair or replace as needed.
- Diagnose the cause of failures in the vacuum and mechanical controls of the heating and A/C system; determine needed repairs.
- Check operation of automatic and semiautomatic heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) control systems; determine needed repairs.
- Identify and recover A/C system refrigerant.
- Recycle refrigerant.
- Test recycled refrigerant for non-condensable gases.
