Interested students must obtain dealer sponsorship prior to the Honda/Acura dealership internship and acceptance into the major.

This program was developed from a partnership of the  Professional Automotive Career Training (PACT) program of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. and Pennsylvania College of Technology. Honda/Acura NACAT 08

Pennsylvania College of Technology, located in Williamsport, PA – a centralized location in the northeastern United States – is uniquely situated to place student interns (and graduates) in the largest population market in the United States.

When looking recently to expand its career training program in major markets across the nation, Honda selected this Penn State affiliate, committed to applied technology education.

Holley, Penn College automotive technology instructor An instructional model of a 2001 Acura CL, given to Penn College in its partnership with American Honda Motor Co., has been "redonated" for the enrichment of students at the Columbia-Montour Area Vocational-Technical School. The transfer was completed last month and the equipment delivered to the school, where it already has been put to a variety of good uses. "This vehicle is - and will be - an asset to the automotive collision repair program, providing up-to-date experiences for the students," said Terry Sheaffer, an instructor in the Automotive Collision Repair and Refinishing program at the vocational-technical school.
