ESC Arboretum Further Adorned by Donated Greenery

Eaton Farms, a Berks County business that provided an internship for a Penn College horticulture student recently, donated 24 trees to the arboretum at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center.

Poinsettia Crop Benefited Students

Students in the Containerized Plant Production class were responsible for growing the College's poinsettia crop this fall. Various colors and varieties brightened the greenhouse and taught students valuable lessons.

The poinsettias were sold to the public and proceeds benefited clubs and instructional supplies for students in the School of Transportation & Natural Resources Technologies.
