ESC Arboretum Further Adorned by Donated Greenery |
Eaton Farms, a Berks County business that provided an internship for a Penn College horticulture student recently, donated 24 trees to the arboretum at the Schneebeli Earth Science Center.

"We are so grateful of the ties that we have to industry, and donations like these show the commitment that industry has to our program," said Carl Bower, instructor, horticulture.

ESC Tree-Planting Honors Retired Horticulture Faculty Member |
Brickman, a leader in the commercial landscaping industry, purchased and donated a tree that was planted last month at Penn College's Schneebeli Earth Science Center in honor of retired faculty member Dennis E. Fink.

Poinsettia Crop Benefited Students |
Students in the Containerized Plant Production class were responsible for growing the College's poinsettia crop this fall. Various colors and varieties brightened the greenhouse and taught students valuable lessons.

The poinsettias were sold to the public and proceeds benefited clubs and instructional supplies for students in the School of Natural Resources Management. |
