Diesel TechnologyPenn College's diesel technology program has given me a great foundation. From basic engine and power train principles to electronic troubleshooting and automatic transmissions rebuild, I've developed the skill set I need to work in industry. I've also been pleased with the opportunities I've had to develop industry relationships while still a student.

Hands-on experience provides students with industry-ready skills. Students working on CAT C9 engine Students in Electronic Fuels lab Diesel Lab Diesel Lab Diesel Lab Diesel Lab Students take coursework in engines, electricity, brake systems, transmissions, and more. 2011 Freightliner exposes students to the latest technology. Diesel Lab Diesel Lab Diesel Lab Diesel Lab Lab work focuses on problem solving and adheres to strict safety standards. All classrooms equipped with computer projection devices. Small class sizes allow for faculty –student interaction. Diesel Lab Each semester, students have the opportunity to meet and network with potential employers both. Diesel Lab Diesel Lab The onsite power generation provides students with hands-on experience to install, maintain, diagnose, and service on-site power generation units. Students complete a 2 credit internship in the program.
