Mary Sullivan, Dean

Welcome to the School of Natural Resources Management website. We offer majors in horticulture, forestry, heavy construction equipment, diesel, and power generation technologies. Our majors offer career opportunities in both the green and natural gas industries.

Natural Resources Management majors include accreditation from organizations such as:

  • National Automotive Technical Education Foundation (NATEF) Master Accreditation for Heavy Duty Trucks and meets the standard for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) for our Diesel Equipment Technology Associates Degree and Diesel Technical Certificate
  • Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) accreditation in our Heavy Construction Equipment Technology: Technician Emphasis and Heavy Construction Equipment Technology: Caterpillar Emphasis degrees
  • Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) accreditation of our Landscape/Horticulture Technology: Landscape Emphasis (LE) program
  • Society of American Foresters (SAF) for our Forest Technology degree
  • Caterpillar, Inc. sponsorship in the Heavy Construction Equipment Technology: Caterpillar Equipment Emphasis and the On-Site Power Generation programs.

With more than 100,000 square feet of indoor institutional laboratories and classrooms and over 350 acres of outdoor "learning labs," the School of Natural Resources Management offers students ample space for learning while keeping class sizes small for individualized instruction.
