Caterpillar dealers worked closely with Pennsylvania College of Technology to develop a curriculum that provides the best preparation available for qualified service technicians. Students work on Caterpillar machines to become highly skilled, technically trained, in-demand members of the worldwide Caterpillar family. During the educational program students will do challenging, interesting and hands-on learning activities while earning money, benefits and respect within the profession.

Volvo Construction Equipment North America has made another generous donation to support students at Penn College. The Asheville, N.C.-based company recently donated a 2006 Volvo MC80B skid steer loader to be used by students in the college’s School of Natural Resources Management.

A leading site contracting and paving firm in Chester County has established a scholarship fund at Penn College. The fund established by Lyons and Hohl Inc. focuses on students in the college's heavy construction equipment technology: operator emphasis major.
The Lyons and Hohl Scholarship will generate an annual award of $2,000 for a student enrolled full time in the second year of that major, who has a minimum grade-point average of 2.5 and who is from Berks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster or Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania.
