Disposal of Chemicals

In order to ensure the proper disposal of chemical wastes, individual generators must use the following procedure:

1. Collect all chemical wastes in appropriate containers that are properly labeled.
2. All halogenated wastes should be collected in a separate waste container from non-halogenated waste.
3. All heavy metal waste should be collected in separate waste containers that are properly labeled.
