Dean's Message

Clifford P. Coppersmith, Dean of Integrated Studies

On behalf of our faculty and staff, welcome to the School of Integrated Studies at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

The School of Integrated Studies is the home for eight program areas and a variety of general education courses—including English, math, social sciences and humanities, and the natural and physical sciences. Here, you will learn real-world skills in one of a diverse range of associate and baccalaureate programs including advertising art, studio arts, mass media communication, early childhood education, graphic communications, graphic design, human services, independent studies, or the general studies transfer program. Additionally, our general education courses will help you meet the needs most often cited by employers for critical thinkers and effective communicators with the ability to adapt to various and changing cultures.

We offer small classes and excellent faculty who possess high quality academic credentials and, in our program areas, specific work experience in the areas in which they teach.

The mission of the School of Integrated Studies is to enhance students' personal growth and professional development through a dynamic integration of the liberal arts and sciences and technology. Whether you pursue a two-year or four-year program, you will develop the skills and knowledge that will prepare you well for the world of work and life.
