Integrated Studies
Dean's Message

Clifford P. Coppersmith

On behalf of our faculty and staff, welcome to the School of Integrated Studies at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

The School of Integrated Studies is the home for nine majors and a variety of general education courses—including communication and literature, mathematics, social sciences and humanities, the natural sciences, and art and music. Here, you will learn real-world skills in one of a diverse range of associate and baccalaureate programs including advertising art, studio arts, graphic design, early childhood education, human services, applied human services, industrial and human factors design, individual studies, or the general studies transfer degree. Additionally, our general education courses will help you meet the needs most often cited by employers for critical thinkers and effective communicators with the ability to adapt to various and changing cultures.

We offer small classes and excellent faculty who possess high quality academic credentials and, in our program areas, specific work experience in the areas in which they teach.

The mission of the School of Integrated Studies is to enhance students' personal growth and professional development through a dynamic integration of the liberal arts and sciences and technology. Whether you pursue a two-year or four-year degree, you will develop the skills and knowledge that will prepare you well for the world of work and life.
