Early Childhood Education
Early Childhood Education provides students with a sound foundation in theoretical and practical aspects of early child care and education settings. The curriculum establishes strengths in oral and written communication, problem solving, and evaluation skills. Students will gain an understanding of the physical, social, and psychological factors that influence a child's development in a particular cultural environment. Fieldwork experiences provide students an opportunity to work directly with young children, drawing upon the principles and professional practices covered in the course work.
