Susan has a background in clinical psychology and has experience in assessment and treatment of individuals with chronic mental illness in community mental health and private outpatient counseling facilities. Areas of special focus included working with women trauma survivors and individuals with developmental disabilities and sexual offending behavior. She has performed outpatient individual, family, child play therapy, and psychosocial evaluations contracted through the Department of Social Services. She also has experience counseling college students and developing and implementing a cognitive behavioral treatment program for women with clinically severe Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder and Depression at a college counseling center. Over the past five years she has served on the Board of Directors at a Domestic Violence Center in Vermont, initiated and advised a Student Psychology Club in Vermont, and currently advises the Two Year Honor Society at Pennsylvania College of Technology. She is a member of numerous professional organizations.
