Lab Facilities
Digital Premedia

Spanning four large rooms, our premedia area includes 60 G3 and G4 Macintosh computers loaded with cutting-edge graphics software. Labs also include flatbed and drum scanners, digital still and video cameras, image setters, plate setters, and color measurement and management devices.
Lithography

Our lithographic presses include eight duplicators and four full-featured sheet-fed offset presses. Our newest press is a fully automated two-color Heidelberg SpeedMaster.
Flexography

The flexography lab includes two four-color narrow web flexo presses, one manufactured by Comco and one by Mark Andy. A high-tech flexo press simulator allows students to troubleshoot real-world flexo imaging problems.
Screen Printing

The screen printing lab includes a six-color textile press, automated poster press, retentionable screen frames, a cylinder press, and both direct and indirect stencil imaging capabilities.
Finishing

The binding and finishing lab has a wide array of equipment. Students use programmable cutters, a MBO folder, a Rosback inserter/stitcher/trimmer, a Bourg BB2000 perfect binder, and a Kluge platen press for foil stamping, embossing, and die cutting.
Materials Testing

A high-tech materials testing lab allows students to test and measure many of the properties of papers and inks for imaging.
