Pennsylvania College of Technology's Welding Technology Department is one of six departments within the School of Industrial & Engineering Technologies. Our mission is to provide our students with the hands-on skills and knowledge required to succeed in the welding industry.

Currently the Welding Technology Department offers three programs of study:

All majors are supported by a common core of technical welding courses that encompass the most common welding and cutting processes in use by the welding industry.

Small classes enable our experienced faculty to give each student the personal attention necessary to optimize his or her learning experience. With over eighty years of combined industry and teaching experience, the welding faculty have a diversified background in the welding field.

The welding department also supports the American Welding Society student organization.
